23 weeks pregnant
Baby is the size of? Mango
Baby’s development? Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about the size of a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb. (babycenter.com)
Food cravings? Mexican, Italian food, ice cream and candy.
What I miss? Having more energy and being able to do more.
What I love? Feeling baby move.
Movement? Yes. I am feeling baby boy move every day!
Best moment of the week? Tyler and I went to his cousin’s wedding up big cottonwood canyon. It was so nice to be up the canyon surrounded by big trees to celebrate love. Hearing them exchange their vows reminded me of our wedding and the promises we made to each other. I love my husband. It was nice to go to a wedding with him. We have 4 more wedding to go to next month.
Symptoms? BACK PAIN, HEART BURN, dizzy, light headed, and tired.
Exercise? I have been swimming a lot lately. Almost every day I go to the rec center and do some laps, some days I also do the elliptical. I have been doing really gentle yoga which has been helping relieve my back pain.
Meditation? Yes, every day.
Hypnobabies? Just finished my second week of the birth class hypnobabies. It has been really nice to be able to deeply relax listening to the cd tracks every day.
Appointments? Next Monday I have an ultra sound, I can’t wait to see this little boy again. The following week I have a midwife appointment.
